Hi, I’m Kristina, the founder of Wild Ona.

Over the years, I built Wild Ona from a small online handmade business into a brand stocked by independent retailers across the UK, while also growing an audience of customers, students, and makers around the world. What began with a love for formulation and natural products grew into something much bigger — a real business, and a deep understanding of what it takes to build one.

Is this guide only for beauty brands?
No. Although the examples and experiences shared throughout the guide are based on building a solid haircare brand, the lessons and principles inside will apply to a wide range of handmade businesses, whether you create candles, ceramics, soap, jewellery, skincare, textiles, art, or other handmade products.
Will this teach me step-by-step how to set up my business?
This guide is not designed as a deep implementation course or technical business setup programme.
Instead, it offers a broader understanding of the key areas involved in building and growing a product-based business, together with practical guidance, personal insights, and actionable steps you can apply to your own business.
